As part of our talent development strategy, Control Risks is launching the fifth iteration of its Africa Graduate Programme – AGP (V). This program aims to provide young African graduates from diverse backgrounds with an opportunity to acquire skills and enhance their workplace experience.

Upon successful program completion, graduates may be presented with the chance to join Control Risks on a full-time basis in one of its offices in Africa.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • This program operates on a rotational basis, immersing graduates within various teams and service lines across diverse settings, not limited to office environments.
  • Provide client-centric research, conduct thorough analysis, and produce high-quality reports within demanding timelines.
  • Participate in activities to bolster business development efforts.
  • Cultivate robust and lasting relationships at both local and international levels within Control Risks.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our Purpose and Values.



To excel in AGP (V), an embrace of flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to tackle challenges is crucial.

  • In addition to possessing analytical and research skills, candidates should be open-minded, articulate, and confident with strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • A robust team ethic is essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Self-motivation and a positive approach to a dynamic work environment are expected.
  • Commercial awareness is vital for quickly understanding clients’ issues and identifying opportunities for their success.
  • Qualifications include a minimum of an honors degree or equivalent, strong computer literacy, and completion of the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) for Nigerian graduates.
  • A maximum of two years of post-graduate work experience is accepted.


  • Competencies sought include problem-solving, excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills, initiative, creative problem-solving, effective collaboration, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and analytical skills.

Additional Information:

  • This is a fully paid programme. Graduates will be required to work full-time for 12 months. To be eligible for the programme you must be An East African citizen/Nigerian/South African or Senegalese.
