Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provide guidance to all production/shift leaders and operating staff, ensuring cost-effective, efficient, and safe operation and maintenance of the plant (Ref, Dry Fract & Effluent) in accordance with SOP.
  • Ensure the achievement of production targets aligned with the production plan.
  • Prepare comprehensive Production Reports and facilitate the proper reconciliation of all raw materials, products, processing chemicals, and utilities.
  • Guarantee the availability of sufficient materials to meet production targets and minimize waste levels.
  • Coordinate and plan labor, materials, and machinery maintenance programs effectively to fulfill production requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the factory at all times.
  • Execute a continuous plant improvement program.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant AIB, QMS, Food Safety, OHS, and EMS policies and procedures.
  • Identify and assess aspects of departmental activities, developing programs as needed to control potential adverse impacts on the environment.
  • Internal & External:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee plant efficiency, downtime management, and optimization of utilities, ensuring the health of equipment through both corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate materials, personnel, and machinery during shifts and across functional departments in alignment with production and quality plans.
  • Actively drive Margin and Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational excellence.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Needed:

  • B.Eng. in any discipline, preferably Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role within a multinational organization.
  • Proactive with the ability to implement continuous improvement programs.
