Coe College is a private liberal arts college in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Founded in 1851, the institution is historically affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. It is a member of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest and the Association of Presbyterian Colleges and Universities.

The scholarship covers the tuition for the student’s first year at Coe and is renewable for three additional years. To qualify, students must be first-time college attendees, live on campus, and complete both the admission application process and a separate full-tuition scholarship application.

Aim and Benefits of Global Leadership Full-Tuition Scholarships

This scholarship is in the amount of tuition the year the student enters Coe and is renewable for three additional years.

 

Criteria for Global Leadership Full-Tuition Scholarships Eligibility

In order to be considered for the Global Leadership Full-Tuition Scholarships, prospective applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Citizenship and Residency: Applicants must be non-citizens or non-permanent residents of the United States.
  • Educational Background: Eligible students must currently attend a foreign high school.
  • Enrollment Intent: Applicants should express their intention to enroll as a full-time undergraduate degree-seeking student at Coe College.
  • On-Campus Residency: To qualify for the scholarship, students are required to reside in on-campus residential housing.
  • Admission Requirements: Prospective applicants must meet all the admission requirements set by Coe College.

Documents Necessary for Application

Candidates are required to submit original or certified copies of the following documents:

  • Secondary School Transcripts: Translated into English, including all courses and grades, along with an explanation of the grading system.
  • National Examination Results: If applicable, provide official results from exams such as WAEC, WASSCE, ‘O’ Level, ‘A’ Level, SLC, etc.
  • Standardized Test Scores: Submit one of the official score reports from the following exams: SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, or DET.
  • Resume: A detailed resume outlining the applicant’s educational background, extracurricular activities, and relevant experiences.
  • Essay Response: Applicants are required to submit an essay response as part of the application process.
