 Demand Manager

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities:

  • Generate baseline statistical forecasts utilizing historical sales trends.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams during the demand planning phase of each month’s business planning cycle.
  • Establish and maintain forecast analysis and reports for informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate monthly Forecast Consensus Meetings and ensure follow-up on agreed actions.
  • Load forecast volumes into APO promptly each month.
  • Address abnormal demand, collaborating with the supply manager on product availability concerns.
  • Proactively identify demand forecast risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
  • Actively participate in the New Product Development (NPD) stage and gate process to ensure proper phasing out of existing products before NPD launches.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • University degree or equivalent in Finance or Business.
  • 3 to 5 years of planning experience in an FMCG environment; demand planning experience is advantageous.
  • 2 years of operational experience in areas such as sales, customer service, supply planning, marketing, or finance.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Relevant certification is an additional advantage.
  • Meticulous and analytical approach to data.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.

IT Service Support Manager- Wilmar

Location: Nigeria

Job Purpose:

  • This role is charged with the responsibility of ensuring network availability across all sites

Responsible to: IT Site Support Manager

Responsible for: No direct reports

Role Overview: IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems across our factory. Your responsibilities will span desktop and laptop support, system management, and technology evaluation. Collaborating with the local service desk, you’ll prioritize and address IT-related issues, providing level-0 support for PZW SAP and various systems. Additionally, you’ll support network-related tasks, evaluate new IT technology, and contribute to global IT projects and service improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely support for IT-related issues throughout the factory.
  • Provide immediate desktop/laptop support for on/off-site users.
  • Support TWMS and WBNET systems in the business warehouse.
  • Offer level-0 support for PZW SAP across the site.
  • Collaborate with the local service desk to manage open calls related to PZ Wilmar factory.
  • Support handheld terminals, printers, label printers, and other devices.
  • Identify and resolve LAN/WAN issues, working closely with PZ staff.
  • Test and evaluate new IT technology.
  • Provide support for facilities, including meeting rooms, access controls, and CCTVs.
  • Support Avaya system, MTR, and other communication technology on-site.
  • Provide appropriate support for new users.
  • Monitor all IT equipment on-site and report abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with approved service providers to resolve LAN and WAN issues.
  • Support the investigation of network-related issues across other PZ & Wilmar operating units outside Nigeria.
  • Align with the global team and vendors for network projects, service improvement plans, and operations.
  • Ensure incident management aligns with PZC and Wilmar standard operating procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree/HND in an IT-related field.
  • 3+ years of IT experience in retail or FMCG.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Proven success in cross-functional team collaboration.
